Tangram Puzzle - Free Game for Kids

Tangram Puzzle provides the classic seven tangram pieces: five triangles (two large, one medium, two small), one square, and one parallelogram. A silhouette target shape is displayed, and children drag, rotate, and flip the seven pieces to fill the silhouette exactly - no gaps, no overlaps, using all seven pieces.

Over 100 silhouette challenges are organized by category: Animals (rabbit, duck, cat, camel, swan), People (running person, archer, dancer, sitting child), Geometric Shapes (square, triangle, rectangle, parallelogram, hexagon), and Abstract Objects (boat, house, candle, bridge). Puzzle difficulty is marked from 1-5 stars. The pieces can be rotated in 45-degree increments and flipped. A "Free Form" mode provides the pieces without a target, inviting open-ended shape creation.

Tangrams are one of the most powerful spatial reasoning tools available to children. The requirement to rotate, flip, and combine geometric pieces to fill a target shape exercises every aspect of spatial visualization: mental rotation, reflection symmetry, part-whole decomposition, and shape composition. These skills are among the strongest predictors of mathematical achievement in secondary school and are directly applicable to engineering, architecture, and design.
