How to Play
Each round describes a shadow - for example, "Which animal makes this shadow?" and shows an emoji clue. Four emoji options appear as large tappable buttons. Tap the one that matches the shadow description.
The game has 12 rounds covering animals, shapes, vehicles, and everyday objects. Correct answers earn a point and trigger a pop animation. Wrong answers shake and cost a life (you have three). The game celebrates with a trophy screen when complete.
What Kids Learn
Shadow matching develops visual discrimination - the ability to identify the key features of a shape regardless of colour, texture, or detail. This skill underpins many important visual tasks including letter recognition (distinguishing b from d from p), shape geometry, and reading maps or diagrams.
For very young children, the game also builds vocabulary as they hear and see the names of animals, shapes, and objects presented together.
