How to Play
A line drawing with numbered regions appears on screen. Each region has a number from 1 to 6. A row of numbered colour swatches sits at the bottom. Tap a region to select it, then tap the matching numbered swatch to fill it with colour.
Using the correct numbered colour earns a star and plays a happy sound. You can use any colour you like - the game never blocks a choice - but matching the numbers rewards you with stars. Complete all six regions in a scene to unlock the next picture. Three scenes are available: a Sunny Day, a House, and Under the Sea.
What Kids Learn
Colour by number develops number recognition, one-to-one matching, and fine motor precision. The game also introduces the concept of following instructions - mapping a number code to a specific action - which is an important pre-reading and early programming skill.
